Jay Bhanushali Hits Out At Regressive Haters: “Jinko Ladkiyan Hoti Hai Woh Kismat Wale Hote Hai”
Just days after new mommy Mahhi Vij slammed haters and trolls for showing “concern” about her post-pregnancy weight, her husband, actor Jay Bhanushali has shared a powerful post lacerating people who still believe that the birth of a girl child ought not to be celebrated. Mahhi and Jai were blessed with an adorable baby girl recently and two have over the moon with this adorable addition to their family.

Jay took to his Instagram a short while back and shared an extremely disturbing incident that took place at the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, where Mahhi delivered his baby girl. He wrote, “It’s very strange that today in 2019 where everything in India is modernizing either in the field of technology or industrial sectors but we still live in a society where birth of a boy is celebrated than of a girl.”

“I met a family at a waiting area, I went ahead n congratulated them n then he asked me aapko kya hua n happily I said Girl, he had a disappointing face and he left without congratulating me. i feel jinko ladkiyan hoti hai woh Kismat wale hote hai. i always wanted a girl. ladke generation nahi badate ladkiyan badhati hai they are the strongest. when I hold my little girl I feel content complete. So this video is to all the people who has such low thinking in life #girlsgeneration#girlpower #girlsarestrong#happyfamily #happyfather #newdad#daddy @mahhivij,” the actor added.

Meanwhile, even as the new parents revel in the joy of welcoming a new member to their family, causing a slight dent in their happiness is a bunch of nasty social media trolls. Replying to unsolicited advice in general, and to trolls in particular, Mahhi recently took to her Instagram stories to share a powerful post. "To all the idiots who are worried about my weight, my priority is feeding my baby not my figure," she wrote.
